@Think_Tank Thats because it's an upscaled picture of the original file of the ps3 version. The picture was highly compressed :/

how do i install this mod properly? i have followed the readme and replaced the 8 files but now my game keeps crashing on startup??? (legit version of the game)

@lemozi Hmm, try to only replace the "font_lib_efigs_pc.gfx" file. It's the most important one xP
I didn't check if the mod still works with the new version. I'll check that with the upcoming cunning stunts update soon and fix that if it's needed.

This works great and well and is there a way to make the game remember the buttons because some time it changes to the pc controls when the screen in online updates. I've been using this mod in online and i'm ban free

@Tiago_The_gamer96 That's nice to hear, but I wouldn't recommend using it in online mode, just sayin'. The PC Controls pop up when an input from mouse or keyboard is made. Any tiny mouse movement can cause that :)

hello thnks for this mode i just got this game from a friend and install it i dont find rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_platform_pc.rpf\ only x64 i have so i tried to replace them in x64 but didnt work any help please im new in this stuff

how do I install it automatically? isn't there supposed to be a .oiv file? I tried to install it manually but nothing happens.

it's working with no problem but does anyone have a mod for red dead redamption 2 button icons

After an update today this mod was still working ok, but for some reason my game woudlnt get past the first settings page. I decided to redownload all the game files. Game is running ok, but the buttons were missing, so I reinstalled this mod via the package installer with OPENIV. Now I am getting a message about corrupted game files and the game will not launch (I even went into offline mode before launching).

Can you explain what might be going on here, and what I might do to get this awesome mod working again?

Got this mod working in 8-2021 by following the instructions in this video:

The only difference in the video and what we see with this latest version is that there is no 'gamepad.xml file. There is another file called 'assembly.xml' that is used instead. Also please know that the REBUILD function is now called DEFRAFMENT in OPENIV.

I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but when asked in OPENIV, I opted for installing this in the MODS directory instead of the game folder. This might have been what solved the issue of the 'corrupted files' problem some people were experiencing.
