Een Mobiele Commando Unit (MCU) wordt ingezet bij grote calamiteiten, zodat leidinggevenden van brandweer, ambulancedienst, politie, bevolkingszorg en andere hulpdiensten overleg kunnen voeren over hun te volgen strategie.
