Bring realism to Los Santos! This Fuel System adds working gas mechanics to GTA V single player. Vehicles consume fuel as you drive, stop when tanks are empty, and can be refueled at gas stations with smooth hand animations. Perfect for roleplay and realism lovers!
Controls & Features
E : Start refueling at a gas station blip
Automatic : Refueling animation plays with right and left hand
Automatic : Fuel decreases while driving
Automatic : Vehicle stops if the tank is empty
Installation Instructions
Requirements (install first):
ScriptHookV
Extract dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll into your GTA V root folder
ScriptHookVDotNet
Extract ScriptHookVDotNet.asi, ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll, and ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll into your GTA V root folder
Your GTA V root folder should look like this:
Grand Theft Auto V/
GTA5.exe
ScriptHookV.dll
dinput8.dll
ScriptHookVDotNet.asi
ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll
scripts/ (folder we’ll use)
Install the FuelSystem Script:
Create a folder called scripts in your GTA V directory (if it doesn’t already exist).
Place FuelSystem.cs inside the scripts folder:
Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/FuelSystem.cs
Run GTA V in Story Mode.
How to Use
Gas station blips will appear on the map.
Drive to a pump, press E, and your vehicle will start refueling.
Hand animations play automatically while fueling.
Once done, you’re ready to hit the road again!
Works with all vehicles (cars, bikes, trucks, etc.)
Lightweight and optimized for single player
Perfect for roleplay and realism lovers

How did you get such realistic graphics for your game?

It's a nice mod, but the fuel and cash information is constantly flashing, and it doesn't work at every gas station. To fill up the car with gas, you have to go back and forth until the E symbol appears.If you can fix these it would be great

QuantV / NaturalVision Evolved (NVE): For lighting, reflections, and realistic weather.
Reshade / ENB presets: To boost colors, contrast, and sharpness.
4K textures & road packs: For more detail on buildings, vehicles, and streets.
Gameconfig + performance tweaks: To make sure the game runs smooth without crashes.
I also play around with my in-game settings (like shadows, MSAA, and post-FX) to balance performance with visuals. That’s how I get the realistic graphics look. 👍"
