@Dimitri_Rascalov they do, they use the phone and they stand guard too, it's random, but I implemented it better than before this time, I was fiddling with making them walk closer, inspired by how IV did bodyguards which was infinitely better than this, but didn't work as expected, still, it's a nice addition, thinking of creating a system for bodyguards to follow in vehicles, since is a very requested feature in every bodyguard mod, might as well if I actually make it, I'll make it universal.

@realzeta They will still shoot it, unless it's a bodyguard you get from the gang and turf mod gang itself

Great mod... works very well... please could you provide an ini to allow for input customization?

New update

- the orders now can be given in a vehicle
- Now bodyguards can be instructed to stay inside the vehicle with the standby command
- they will also exit the vehicle when you give them the move command on foot.
- All commands are interchangeable.

Next update will probably include a new order that makes bodyguards use melee weapons.

@ChargedKILO Will see what I do about that, nevertheless, in the meanwhile, you can change the inputs in the game's options themselves, since the mod uses controls from the actual game and not keys.

The Mod is conflicting with Actual game keys, specifically Standby order key. The character takes the input for exiting or entering rather than the order, when near a car or in the car. And the UI is also not showing up when in a car.

@Sezario will see what I do about that, for now I recommend holding the weapon wheel button before pressing the enter exit command, that prevents the entering and exit of the vehicle

- The player can also command the bodyguards to use melee weapons if they have them, and if they don't they will exclusively use their fists.
- The player can command the bodyguards to use guns again.
- There's dynamic reactions
- They exit stand by mode, and exit the cars the player leaves them in to help the player if he gets into trouble.
- They will also pull out guns if the player enters a shootout.

@thalilmythos I'm using a controller, what's the "character switch button?" I've tried L/R Alt and neither did anything either.

@thalilmythos OK it's just that dpad down and Y puts me into a freecam mode which I can't disable -- would be great if could just have it as down and B for both commands (like stop then start / wait then follow one command after the other)

@N. Man Dawg, the character button is the one you use to switch your characters, but you already must have bodyguards with you to use this, you can try these, that are mine:

or use something else, like a trainer, or another bodyguard mod.

@ChargedKILO My man, you can change that in whatever trainer you're using, every trainer I know has settings for their freecam mode.

@thalilmythos Yeah you'd think but this is what i've found in the config -- ; Key to toggle FreeCam (default = F3/114). Controller binds are fixed to Y+D-padDown. It's cool my man I just won't use the mod

Thank You for fixing and making the mod perfect! Features i can suggest for your bodyguard mods - Configurable guns and configurable amount of guards, steal nearby car when the car is full ( this feature was in Join Me Peds by Zilch ). These are just suggestions, it's up to you whether you want to add or not. Your bodyguards mods are probably the most realistic I've ever found.

I need you to understand, this is not a bodyguards mod, this is a mod that creates A SYSTEM that allow you to order your bodyguards FROM ANY OTHER MOD OR THE GAME FRIENDS.

I will add bodyguards follow you one day to this, for now, I'm implementing the more immediate things like combat, movement and weapons.
