Tired of getting shot down by the air force or by angry and well equipped civilians with homing launchers ? Not anymore. All aircrafts in the state of San Andreas (including civilian and military aircrafts) have been upgraded with IR Flares.
Press 'e' to deploy flares
At the moment the function of 'evading' missiles isn't perfect as I just couldn't find a better way to do it yet. So for now, all missiles in a specific range (sadly inclunding your own) will be vanishing when you deploy the flares. But I'll work on that and find a better way.

- Finding a better way to avoid missiles

- Drop the IR_Flares.asi into your main GTA V directory

- Fixed a bug from the last version where game particles got bugged after some time
- Flares are now fading out instead of vanishing directly
- Rescaled the flares a little bit. They are now a little bit bigger
-- Version 1.1 --
- Changed the whole layout of the flares
- There are now twice as much flares spawning as before
- There will be a small delay between the flares
- Added a little bit of a spammy effect
-- Version 1.0 --
- Initial Release

The flares look so cool. I know the mod doesn't say it has controller support, but a prompt does pop up in my game as I'm taking off saying to press right on D pad to deploy flares. It doesn't work, only E seems to work, but I'm wondering how I'm getting the prompt?

when I press e nothing happen
Will this mod work for helicopters too ? It seems to work only with planes :)

If you use this mod, the message “Press the right cross key on the controller to drop the flare” will appear, but it will not respond even if you press it, but it will respond with the e key on the keyboard.

Couldnt work after I updated my computer, it happened several times before but I solved it by reinstalling Visual C++. However its not working again
