VEHICLE EICAS SYSTEMS for GTA V

VEHICLE EICAS SYSTEMS introduces an aircraft-inspired Engine Indication and Crew Alerting System
into GTA V vehicles. The mod focuses on realistic engine behavior, gradual mechanical wear,
and immersive on-screen feedback while remaining fully configurable and gameplay friendly.

All systems are designed to feel believable rather than punishing, rewarding smooth driving
and maintenance awareness instead of arcade-style abuse.


Installation Instructions (MUST FOLLOW)

  • Install Script Hook V
  • Install NativeUI.dll and place it in scripts folder (IMPORTANT)
  • Install ScriptHookVDotNet version 3
  • Copy VehicleRealism.dll into:

scripts



Launch GTA V in Story Mode



Controls

  • F7 - Open or close the EICAS menu
  • Arrow Keys - Navigate menu items
  • Enter - Select item
  • Left and Right Arrow Keys - Adjust values
  • Default AC toggle key: X (configurable from menu)

  • Air Conditioning (AC) System
    • Realistic AC load affecting engine idle RPM
    • Smooth AC engagement and disengagement
    • Per-vehicle AC load variation
    • Configurable idle RPM load strength
    • Live AC ON/OFF status display

  • Engine Oil Management
    • Dynamic oil consumption based on RPM and acceleration
    • Randomized wear factor for realism
    • Adjustable oil consumption speed (0.25x to 3.0x)
    • Engine power reduction at low oil levels
    • Engine damage and shutdown risk at zero oil
    • Emergency oil refill option with realism penalty


  • Power and Torque Monitoring
    • Real time power output percentage
    • Real time torque output percentage
    • Dynamically calculated using RPM and acceleration
    • Reflects engine condition and oil health





HUD and Customization

  • Toggle individual EICAS HUD elements
  • AC, Power, Torque, and Oil indicators
  • Fully customizable HUD positioning
  • Precision adjustment with accelerated hold scrolling
  • Clean, minimal, simulation style display




Menu System

  • Open EICAS menu using F7
  • Keyboard only navigation
  • No mouse cursor interference
