Okay so it's not just me. Apparently GTA V updated on Steam to a new version. Great.
@DanyBarking Damn. So it isn't as easy as just replacing the image in "hud.ytd"? That's unfortunate. But, i'm glad I found this mod, because then this proves I would have wasted my time trying to get the icon to work myself lmao. Thanks anyways for trying man.
