@RudrakshZ 8gb was fine 5years ago, but when you factor in the following.. Windows being more bloated + playing gta v with mods installed, you will quickly full up that 8gb of ram.

@RudrakshZ I would still stay that trying to cram a lot of modifications to gta5 on a system that has 8gb max is asking for performance issues.

@RudrakshZ oh, um, ok. I’d say that maybe you need to upgrade to 16gb, as gta v uses quite a bit or ram, not to mention windows os combined + the use of mods all of which running on a system with no more than 8gb ram will be a performance hit.. At this moment of time, I recommend that you upgrade to 16gb ram and depending on the rest of you system hardware e.g. cpu, gpu, you may see a performance benefit. PS most if not all people would say 16gb is now the minimum recommendation in 2024. The days of having 8gb being the minimum is long gone.

@RudrakshZ, and what kind of rig are you running this on e.g. low, mid, high?
