Install Instructions:
1. Have OpenIV installed and navigate to this specific location
2. Place both files in there
3. All set the mod will work however dont use any optic attachments as it will float
I think that the BF3 G36C looks the best :)

@TrophiHunter You make so great models thank you so much for your work. pls convert the Famas from Battlefield 4 and the Mac 11 from Battlefield Hardline when its possible :)
Is there a reason you haven't been able to apply normal maps to these guns? The vanilla guns use normal maps so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to (although I have no experience with these tools). They were modeled and textured with the normal maps in mind so I'd say they're pretty necessary.
If it's a matter of not having the normal maps, I do have them so let me know if you need them.
Oh wait my bad, I only just noticed this was BF3 and not BF4. At any rate I've got a lot of normal maps for BF4 guns if you need them.
You can use crazy bump for a normal map. Should work for this.
No, that does not provide an adequate effect. These models for Battlefield were modeled as a highpoly then baked to the lowpoly in the form of a normal map. It gives the appearance of a much higher polycount. Simply taking the diffuse texture and putting it through Crazybump or something similar will only take the diffuse details and makes them bumpy. It's simply not as good. Take a look at these screens that I just made:

As you can see this makes a tremendous difference. I guarantee the normal maps for the model in this mod are floating around the internet somewhere as well.

this it really nice but could you move the gun up a little bit? the sight isn't quite in the rail (yes, I'm really picky xD)
