This mod replaces the standard ingame pause menu map with an expanded non island map. NOTE: This does not replace the actual collision map, or anything like that. Its only the pause menu map. You might think its useless, and youre right. But it makes it feel more like San Andreas State than just some random island in the Pacific Ocean. the GPS works fine, but im not sure if this also replaces the minimap.
REQUIREMENTS: OpenIV and GTAV (legal copy recommended)
TODO: Make map higher quality.

@RODEBLUR love the concept. Hate the name. People will think it's just another "see more of the map" mod when
its more than that. Change the name to "realistic map" or something and more people will care (and actually update it too, or nobody will see it with the new name under all the newer mods and updates.)
@RODEBLUR Also, it's not the whole state in the game;
It was confirmed through Rockstar that the present area the player can explore in GTA V is not the whole state of San Andreas, but just the southern island portion of it. This might explain the lack of a designated state capital. It is likely that the GTA equivalent of the areas south of Los Santos, including San Diego exist and are simply not depicted for gameplay purposes.
Lester mentioning in The Paleto Score that the body of water north of Paleto Bay is actually a river.
Judging by the overall terrain along the coast of San Andreas, it would be assumed that the northeast coast (specifically around Mount Gordo) would have consisted of mostly desert and eventually Las Venturas (had water not been used as a free-roam natural barrier). Part of this theory is supported by how the west coast consists almost entirely of natural beaches; whereas the east coast consists entirely of ridges and rock formations. To further back this theory, it is possible that the east coast would also serve as part of a river as the wreckage of a river steamboat can be found in the southeast section of the state as well as Lester mentioning in The Paleto Score that the body of water north of Paleto Bay is actually a river. The presence of Cape Catfish on the eastern coast of San Andreas, as well as islands and coves would not make sense if the east coast is supposed to be desert. The area south of the Palomino Highlands would most likely not be water as depicted, but would instead be the rest of Southern San Andreas, including the GTA equivalent of San Diego.
shame that we can't mod maps yet
san francisco and las vegas would be awesome for five
@HeySlickThatsMe If you look closely in the fourth photo, you can see san fierro northwest
@RODEBLUR yeah i know
but shame that we can't actually do map mods (like adding new cities etc)
@HeySlickThatsMe I know. But maybe with FiveReborn we can make cities like they were in FiveM
@RODEBLUR yeah its possible but crap ton of work
but also you need fivem reborn
im so hyped for next openiv update...
@Xinerki what?
@RODEBLUR useless but i think its pretty cool, i like the idea
@ayoody3yeq The GTA 3 Landstalker is really nice and the dude wanted someone to port it to GTA V.
@Xinerki i dont care about that car i was commenting about the mod
@ayoody3yeq well, so the map isnt a random island in the pacific and feels more like the actual city and not like Hawaii and it feels more like the contiguous US
@RODEBLUR bro can you pls guide how did you add that specific map? thanks! :)
@kingleo i basically replaced the Minimap files and Minimap sea files with my pictures, thats how i did it
что жтот мод дает
@RODEBLUR i would be cool if it did :D
169 downloads!
@RODEBLUR You should make the actual area of the in game San Andreas coloured and make the extra details fade into greyscale, and put a border around the playable area to show us the in game bounds.
I did not back up the original GTA V files that were replaced. I would like to uninstall the mod, can someone please give me the original files for me? pls
i need to see the video what it look like?
