This is a DIRECT conversion of Drivers' IV Style Exit Vehicle LUA script. This is done because LUA is outdated, the suggested alternatives are way too complex and I just loved the simplicity and effectiveness of the original mod.
Since he's not had any activity here since August and I'm an impatient bastard, I'm uploading it here now.
Beware that due to this, I might remove this mod on request.
Installing
You'll need ScriptHookVDotNet.
Put the file in the scripts folder.
Bugs
Not sure if this is caused by the original script or my C# implementation, but getting out immediately after getting in will have the car turn off.
Semi-incompatibility
If you're running this mod in tandem with my Manual Transmission mod and the engine stalls, it restarts when you exit the vehicle normally with this mod. I might put in a workaround here if all is fine with Driver.

The functionality this script provides has been integrated into Manual Transmission 4.8.2. If you're using both, consider removing IV Style Exit and using the "Leave engine running" feature instead.
No problems here works great even persistence
@ikt For some reason this only works if I tap or hold F while simultaneously pressing the right mouse button, otherwise no matter what I do the engine won't shut off when I get out of the car. Why is this happening? The GTA5 version is up to date and I tried removing other mods so it's not like there are other mods in conflict with this one.
@ikt ((This is done because LUA is outdated)) what will happen if i use lua .. my game will crash ??
@ikt i have a bug, when i exit a car with xenon lights, the lights change to normal one, and when i enter a car the lights change again to xenon (only with cars with xenon lights)

I'm not maintaining/fixing this anymore. Similar functionality has been integrated into Manual Transmission.

mod is functional
I have a problem with manual transmission start engine when the gas pedal is pressed. ( Twitching pedal potentiometer) . will this fix my issue?

Never mind, turns out all that needs to be done when using SHVDN nightly is to add ".2" before ".cs".
