Resource Adjuster
About
A collection of patches (some of which are used by FiveM) to improve stability, reduce texture loss and actually use your system's available resources as much as possible.
Please note that this script is designed for high end systems with 8GB or more of GPU memory and more than 8GB of system memory available to be used solely by the game, although this is configurable via the included INI file.
Requirements
Installation
Place "GTAV.ResourceAdjuster.asi" & "ResourceAdjuster.ini" into your Grand Theft Auto V folder.
Details
This script modifies texture/asset VRAM budget limits as well as the amount of memory allocated to the streaming of the map and props. Stock GTA V has quite restrictive values for these such as just over 1.5GiB set aside for maxed out textures. The default setting in the INI basically doubles this limit to around 3.5GiB. System memory is automatically detected and adjusted for.
This does not replace any other type of adjuster so keep on using great patches like Packfile limit adjuster, heap adjuster, SirenSetting Limit Adjuster or weapon limit adjuster when you need them.

@zombieguy I have 16GB of RAM. To what number can I increase my additional GPU in the settings?
@nj5050 Hello, you seem to know a lot of things. I have an i5-10400 2.90 GHz, 32gb RAM, RTX 3060 Ti 8Gb, 500gb SSD. I played a few minutes with mod and a big crash with this message "Out of memory" I looked at the "ResourceAdjuster.ini" and the figure is "additionalGPUMemory=1900" What should I do ?
@OdinPagan Though I'm not sure on the specs of a 3060Ti, I would however definitely bump up the RA VR memory allocation from 1900 to like 2900-3700. Moreover since you have the extra Ram of 32GB, try keeping the experimental mode "On" or at "1" value, this could add extra buffer.
Lastly don't forget about all the prerequisites & other critical Limit adjuster mods, & a solid up to date GameConfig.xml file.
@ChickenatorJoe Its definitely possibly another Mod conflict in your script folder, or improper installation/changing of some file in the game directory or your GameConfig.xml has been altered someway.
@nj5050 Thank you for your quick response, this is my first time using this mod. Do we see a change in game ? Less FPS losses for example ? I use 13 Add-On cars and rarely maps, also 2 rim pack DLC
@OdinPagan This mod is a MASSIVE breakthrough, if you want an honest opinion.
With that said, I have a pretty decently powerful system already on a RTX 3080 & 64GB Ram, but this mod makes every use of its potential in all areas, where prior it was being under utilized efficiently, is all I can say.
@nj5050 I can't get a stable game, I'm still changing the graphics settings to not lose any more FPS but I still have losses. It depends on the places, the weather, of the hour (Around 7-8 p.m.). I don't know what to do anymore and I don't have fun playing when I lose a lot of FPS
@OdinPagan If your playing around with your 3060Ti settings, then that can be part of the problem. As enabling overclocking of any sort during GTA5 play is not a good idea, so just use normal settings. Additionally you'll need to set your graphics API setting to Directx11 & avoid using any extended Scalable Distance from your GTA advance settings. Keep in mind you're still dealing with a 3060 graphic card, so try not to overburden it with any use of Ultra settings.
@nj5050 Ok, I don't use this mod then. Some settings are "Very High" with MSAA "x2" and MSAA reflections "x4" I tried to set the game to "Normal" quality but I do not like at all
THE BEST MOD!!! THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR HEAVIER MODDING, IT ENTIRELY FIXED MY TEXTURE ISSUES AND POPINGS.
@nj5050 Hey man.Not sure if you have 5real/ LA mod, but this mod helped fix a lot of fps drops but for some reason some gangs entire body color glitches between other colors. I saw you helping a lot above so if figured I'd ask you.
@TonyValentine1 I doubt this mod would have anything directly to do with it.
Might want to check out & review that mods files or installation files itself.
ddd
thank you so much
I'm Using NVE Graphic Mod, 40+ Car Mod, Map Mod, Gun Replace Mod, Cloth Replace Mod.
and My PC Spec is i7 9700K / RTX3070TI / 16GB RAM.
This regulator Default Setting Use seems to have fixed the problem of texture loss on my gta5 modding.
Thank you. :)
@zombieguy A more efficient and complete updated version would be appreciated.
Perfect!
i use Nve/Quant as Graphic mods with photorealistic Graphic reshade, 600Addon Cars, Forest of Sa, LARevo,Liberty Cry, San Fiero/Las Venturas with many Scripts and other stuff.
My PcSpec: 12700K 3090FE, 32GB RAM
Absolut amazing no texture Loss anymore !
thx a lot!!!
@TeamHimes what value did you use? default of 1900?
@raburs I think I use 6000 or 8000, got a 3090FE
Does this mod change the way skid marks work? Wondering because im noticing they aren’t showing anymore and every time i try it back to normal it automatically changes back to 0.2-something or so.
