This is the best mod ever made, I mean the force feedback is incredible, if you can set it up correctly is the best Force feedback of any game, It's really sad people cannot enjoy it anymore, my recommendation is to just downgrade to an older version of the game, this mod runs fine for me on an older GTA V version.
okay so i Installed this mod, and at first I was worried because I thought It had broken my game because the camera was shaking like crazy and the buttons weren't working correclty, long story short, it had nothing to do with this mod, I had a gamepad connected and the analog stick was hitting something and that was moving my camera lol.
Anyway after testing the mod for like 40 minutes, I have no complaints whatsoever, it works great with all the mods I have which are Uber taxi mod, Realistic Driving V, manual transmission mod and dynamic first camera person mod, the Eco mode it's amazing and I feel it makes the speed of the car more realistic and it's way easier to roam around the crowded streets with all the traffic without crashing into everyone, the Sport mode is really cool to just crank the gas pedal on the highway and go really fast, and the turbo mode I didn't really try it much because the car slides too much but it sure looks really fun for people who are into drifting, I'm giving this a 5/5. So far haven't experienced any noticeable bugs, lag, or FPS drops.
This mod looks interesting, specially because of the eco mode thing , does anyone know if this mod is compatible with Realistic Handling V?
okay so after trying different options, the best solution was what black panther suggested and just delete the vehicleaihandlinginfo file in the mod altogether, that way you still get the nice handling when you are driving without the AI being dumb and crashing on you all the time, the stock AI behavior works better with the mod, tried the vehicleaihandlinginfo from other mods and it was bad too vehicles were turning slow at the corners and bumping into each other.
@zBlackPantherr great tip thank you, that realistic driving mod is great but the ai behavior can be bad and frusttrating, what are you go to settings ?
@zBlackPantherr can you give me some good values for it?
@k4ngkung mainly the force feedback settings will need to be adjusted if you are playing with a steering wheel, on the manuakl transmission mod, I have mine on gamma/linear with value of 0.50 and wheel friction at low speed of 3, it works great with my logitech g920, other wheels might need different settings, that's why you have to try on your own what works for you.
For some reason the latest ghub update broke my settings, not even installing the older version worked, the wheel would be stiff and it would return to center super slow, making the car not driveable, after hours of trying and tweaking settings I fixed the issue, what I did was to change the minimum damper (wheel friction at low speeds) from 40 to 3 and also changing the ffb response curve on linear from 0.57 to 0.50, now the force feedback and the return to center mechanism is working fine like it should, I use the g920 and I'm leaving this comment here in case anyone encounters a similar issue.
OK just tried it with the manual transmission mod and it works great, at first it takes a bit to configure the manual transmission mod properly and also takes a while to get used to driving with this handling mod, but once you get used to it, it is very rewarding and it is a big improvement to the game. 5/5
does this actually work with realistic driving V mod?
