@locotomb may i ask you helping me with one car mod i am having issues with in game, i will also provide link to it its from gta v mods, so here is link to the 74 dodge monaco pd car (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1974-dodge-monaco-police-animated-wiper#description_tab) then here is link to the liveries (https://www.gta5-mods.com/paintjobs/sheriff-liveries-for-1974-dodge-monaco#comments_tab) so i installed the car files all correctly except 1 thing that in the game story mode of course is when whenever i hear the police npc chasing down some civilian driver of course like normal thing for gta v npc to do yes i look and i see it in a distance only thing is i can only see the sirens the amber lights flashing but not the body of the car itself only until when it reaches a certain distance coming near me it then appears and shows the visibility of the car itself but then as they pass by me or from a near distance then driving further away chasing whoever down or just drive away normally the body of the car then goes invisible..except for the driver and his deputy..can you please somehow help me what im doing wrong in the installation? its real simple but i dont know what i did wrong please..i had replaced these from the los santos npc police ped cars and switched the sheriff files too make the in game world more realistic to me.
@nikochico56 More than likely its a lack of "LOD" and a setting in the files that says there is supposed to be one at that certain distance away. You can check the Vehicles.meta file in the dlc and change the distances. or tell the creator of the mod to fix it. He may not even know the bug exists.
