Updated the BF Surfer to look more like a VW Camper. Hated the sporty/lowrider look of the original so made it look more classic looking.
I've designed it to replace the clean surfer, not the rusty one found in Sandy Shores. I've not tested but I guess it could replace either?
LIST OF CHANGES
- Removal of pinstripes
- Painted bumpers
- Less chrome on headlights/taillights
- Removal of headlight covers when surfboard is attached
- Wheels taken from rusty Surfer and repainted white from red
- Repositioned front and rear license plates
- Larger BF logo on front (similar to VW badge). Looking at ways to get a better quality badge as it's a bit pixelated up close
- Sliding rear doors
- Tweaked rear badges
V1.1 - Trunk handle attached to trunk door
V1.1 - New wheels
V1.1 - Front wheels re-positioned to be inline with rear wheels
V1.2 - 11 new default spawn colors + always white licence plate
FUTURE CHANGES
- New interior (more of a retro look etc. Possibly rear seats to make sliding doors useful!)
- Livery mapping
- More extras (roof luggage, no surf board etc)

Excellent mod however, I'm not a big fan of those wheels. The center caps have those two little dents in them. The Classic Rod wheels would be a lot better.
Trunk handle must be attached to Trunk when it leaves it is floating.

@JRC99 Maybe. They aren't too high on my list, but hopefully the Tornado will be easy, just taking parts from the Tornado Custom and applying them to the base game version.

Does this have a detailed axle undercarriage? In default Rockstar fashion they forgot axles and so the wheels just kind of float there. If not I think you can rip parts from the bodhi and use that.
New Interior - When you do this change, will you be using parts of the payote interior to give the van a '60s looking interior?
And lastly, I don't think much changes need to be made to do this, but maybe also do rusty texture for beater version so surfer stays consistent?

If you're looking at replacing the interiors of the Tornado maybe just change the steering wheel to the one of the Voodoo,maybe recolor it.

I love your vanilla edits so much, it really shows how half-ass R* was with some of the vehicles... That being said, would you consider giving such treatment to the Chino? That's a car I desperately want to love but it's super bland and almost toylike in its proportions.
