Following the Linerunner, I thought it'd be fun to also make a Tanker (and I have a Roadtrain planned too...) Now, since I based my Linerunner on a modern Kenworth, I figured it'd make sense to base my tanker on a modern Ford. The only problem is Ford doesn't make class 8 trucks anymore, so I went with the last class 8 they did make, the Aeromax.
this model really stretched the limits of my abilities, so you might notice a few more rough edges than the Linerunner had. These will most likely not be getting fixed by me, as I don't have the know-how, or the patience to learn said know-how. That being said, I'm pretty happy with how the truck came out, and I hope you enjoy it.
Please let me know in the comments if you discover any major or game-breaking issues i should address.

It looks great on you, well done, I love your work; is it possible that you make a chassis version of the Vapid Guardian (truck that you used to create this semi) in a double or single cabin? I would like to see a variant of the Guardian crane or flatbed with a cabin and without passenger cabin, or a pickup version as well as one with cargo transport.
@squad50 I'll add it to my list...
@Kennyworth Thanks for taking my idea into account, it seems to me that the Vapid Guardian is very forgotten, they hardly even release variants of the latter; by the way, the linerunner is very nice. I hope you can do the roadtrain. I'm dying to see it.
I like this model and more to the model you have based (Ford Aeromax), I only have one small thing that made me weird and that was the speedometer inside, the texture is from the speedometer of some trucks like the Packer or the Phantom, but models like the Guardian, Barracks or the Biff use a digital speedometer and this model in theory has that digital speedometer, however, it is on top of the texture of the classic speedometer. It reminded me of the Brickades pack on the site and one of those models (Brickade Tipper) has the same problem.
No offence or anything, it just looks strange that element. The design of the truck is really cool.
@LiguerZero I gave it analogue gauges because it's an older truck, and I didn't feel the digital gauge cluster would fit. Don't forget the Guardian is based on a late '00s F-650, while my tanker is based on a late '80s L9000. If you look up pics of the inside of a real Aeromax, they are VERY analogue..
@Kennyworth I understand the decision and that is something that is really appreciated, what seems strange to me is that the digital speedometer of these models appears (or well it appears to me) above the classic speedometer and not the analog needles that should be there.
I guess I am not that picky as I didn't notice any issues, looks very vanilla btw, love it.
BUT I guess World of Variety adds two trailers called Tanker and Tanker2 so it clashes with this mod, rename gameName in vehicles.meta if you can't spawn it.
Hello, very cool mod. Sorry to bother you, but how are you into giving some liveries in future updates for this, previous and following lore-friendly truck mods. It always bothered me we don't have any liveries for vanilla trucks and as far as I can see, the red variant (on the main photo) would suit pretty well for TF4 Optimus livery, you can take a look here: https://www.google.com/search?q=tf4+optimus+truck&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjD34CLxr-EAxWFvf0HHa83AckQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=tf4+optimus+truck&gs_lp=EgNpbWciEXRmNCBvcHRpbXVzIHRydWNrMgYQABgIGB5IikNQnDxY0EFwAHgAkAEAmAGhAaAB6QaqAQMwLje4AQPIAQD4AQGKAgtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZ8ICBBAjGCfCAgcQABiABBgTwgIIEAAYCBgeGBOIBgE&sclient=img&ei=c47XZYPaF4X79u8Pr--EyAw&client=firefox-b-d#imgrc=HGcASaF9V7nr6M
I NOTICED THAT CHARACTER hands and steering wheel clip throught the cab and no dials
Each model you do will get better and better. When I did modding for GTA IV, my first few models wern't 100% and I knew it. But after a while, I learned some things and got better at it. Keep at it and don't let the dream die.
@Kennyworth thank you so much can't wait for it keep up the good work
@Kennyworth i know you only do trucks but if you can can you make the remington lowrider from san andreas & add it to gta v? we have the dundreary virgo classic custom already in game but unforgantly it is not the same model would love to that come back. this is a requested mod
@Not_an_Etzky I have no clue how to add liveries to models, so that's gonna be a no..
@LiguerZero I see the problem, should be fixed now
@Kennyworth https://www.gtaall.net/gta-4/cars/149506-coach-sa.html you can convert this one
@Kennyworth Exactly, that's what I meant. I just tested it and it was excellent. Thank you very much for the correction, now it is as it should be.
Sweet a Sterling!
@Kennyworth Please consider making it possible to change bumper color. It would help with variety
Do you have a UV map of this model? I'm thinking of adding a livery to it.
