Full credit goes to Katka for the original mod on steam. I simply ported this mod to GTA V. This models are from Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, I take no credit for creating the model or textures.

The Colt Automatic Rifle-15 or CAR-15 is a family of M16 rifle–based firearms marketed by Colt in the 1960s and early 1970s. However, the term "CAR-15" is most commonly associated with the Colt Commando; these select-fire carbines have ultrashort 10.5-inch and 11.5-inch barrels with over-sized flash suppressors.

• Fully Animated
• Working Collision Data
• Attachment Compatible
• 2K Textures
• Comes With 20 20-Round Mag and 30 30-Round Mag
Please note: Also comes with a suppressor

The iron sights line up perfectly, but the scopes are not usable. Animations work flawlessly.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024x1024 or 1024x512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren't, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
