@swaggerkaj Try asking Equinox407 on how to adjust the attachment nodes so the attachments line up.
@Mangokillen Moving attachment nodes will causes the attachments to move while shooting
@swaggerkaj Equinox407 had the same problem with attachments moving while shooting.
I asked him to take a look at this mod that has lined up attachment nodes that don't move when shooting.
https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/payday-2-colt-m727
He has been able to adjust the attachment nodes on his mods since and they don't move when shooting.
Nice mod !!!
@Mangokillen I can indeed make duplicate nodes, like wapgrip and wapgrip_2. This is not my area of expertise due to me making mostly making addon weapons for fivem, where I do not have these problems.
@swaggerkaj If you make duplicate nodes the weapon will use the new node by editing the weapons.meta file
for example the suppressor attachment node
<AttachBone>WAPSupp</AttachBone>
with:
<AttachBone>WAPSupp_2</AttachBone>
@Mangokillen yes, I know that. but I will not be also editing meta to that point
@swaggerkaj what software do you use to make these mods? I use blender with sollumz plugin and its easy to move attachment nodes without glitching. In fact every one of my mods have adjusted bones
@Debot_Vox I use blender and zmod. I know how to move attachment nodes and the whole process. This weapon was purely a test to see if I could succesfully convert a weapon from tarkov, includes textures.
But do you know what? I will make special version for you guys with moved nodes
Nice looking but ghost ring not working - shot to the ground when aiming with it. Therefore, it is unusable mod for me. Would be great gun, I love shotguns so it would be my favourite in the game. Pity.
I reccomend to replace pump shotgun mk2 - you can use it to aim, but still a little bit too low.
@transadwens https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/23704/tutorial-correcting-first-person-aiming-for-replacement-weapon-mods-detailed-meta-edit-intructions please read this to fix said issue
@swaggerkaj You are the guy - did what is said in this tutorial - everything is perfect now.
@transadwens No problem, and remember "Keep on rockin' in the free world, doot doola doot doo doot doo"
@transadwens what's your first person .meta settings?
