I really loved the realistic Glock 17 sound which replaced my combat pistol so I really wanted a realistic Beretta M9 sound and the best I could find was
this sound mod originally created by Crewboss and Proudnoob4 but I though their sound was too quiet compared to the Glock sound so I amplified it enough to make it realistic. Hope ya'll like what Ive done with it!
Install:
Must have OpenIV and edit mode switched [ON].
Extract this file to any location (remember it!)
1) Travel to, mods/x64/audio/sfx/WEAPONS_PLAYER.rpf
2) Rightclick on ptl_pistol.awc and select "export to openFormats", export it to desktop, replace the sound with my one.
3) Select "New" in openIV and then "Import openFormats"
4) Find the mod and select the .oac file and press "OK"
5) Start up the game and enjoy!
Changelog:
Added the whole ptl_pistol.awc file for people who don't have other sound mods and/or are unable to get it to work the other way.

people on it saying it fucked up their game but I worked to me, if u want my settings on it I'll give them to you when I get home cos Im on holidays now.. Its fairly simple to get it the way you like it though..
