Reactions are very instant and fast i think u need to fix it
@Swervx Just to add more detail, here is what my `ScriptHookVDotNet.log` shows on a clean test:
`Loading assembly BetterChasesPlus.Enhanced.dll ...`
`Found 6 script(s) in BetterChasesPlus.Enhanced.dll`
It also loads LemonUI:
`Loading assembly LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll ...`
Then every Better Chases+ script starts correctly:
`Started script BetterChasesPlus.ArrestWarrants.`
`Started script BetterChasesPlus.BetterChases+BetterChasesActive.`
`Started script BetterChasesPlus.BetterChases+BetterChasesPassive.`
`Started script BetterChasesPlus.Config.`
`Started script BetterChasesPlus.Renderer.`
`Started script BetterChasesPlus.Witnesses.`
The important line for the F7 menu is `Started script BetterChasesPlus.Config.` That means the menu/config script is loading correctly when LemonUI is installed properly.
So if your chase behavior works but F7 does not open, the next thing I need is your own `ScriptHookVDotNet.log`, because that will show whether `BetterChasesPlus.Config` is starting on your setup or failing because of LemonUI / SHVDNE / keybind issues.
@Swervx Also, just to clarify: I just tested the mod again on my side with the menu working and also without opening the menu, and both cases worked fine for me. The chase logic itself loads separately, but the F7 menu depends on LemonUI. So if the chase behavior works but the menu does not open, it is most likely still an install/log issue around LemonUI or SHVDNE rather than the mod logic itself.
@Swervx The log is not inside the `scripts` folder. It should be in your main GTA V Enhanced folder, the same place where `GTA5_Enhanced.exe` and `ScriptHookVDotNet.asi` are.
Usually that folder is:
`C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\`
Look there for:
`ScriptHookVDotNet.log`
Also check if there is:
`ScriptHookVDotNet.error.log`
That one is even more useful if something failed.
A few things to check:
1. Make sure Windows is not hiding file extensions. In File Explorer, go to `View > Show > File name extensions`, then look again.
2. Use the search box inside your GTA V Enhanced folder and search for:
`ScriptHookVDotNet`
3. Do not confuse it with `ScriptHookV.log`. That is a different log.
If there is no `ScriptHookVDotNet.log` at all after launching the game, then SHVDNE probably is not loading correctly, or it cannot create the log file. In that case, check that `ScriptHookVDotNet.asi` is really in the game root next to the `.exe`.
If you find the log, open it, scroll to the bottom, and paste the last 15 to 20 lines here. I mainly need to see whether `BetterChasesPlus.Config` starts correctly or if it fails because of `LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll`.
@Swervx For the F7 menu, the main thing to check is LemonUI. The chase logic can run without it, but the config/menu needs LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll, so that is usually why the chases work but F7 does nothing.
Your folders should look like this:
Game root:
...\Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\
This is the folder where the game .exe is. It should contain:
dinput8.dll
ScriptHookV.dll
ScriptHookVDotNet.asi
ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll
ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll
ScriptHookVDotNet.ini
MinHook.x64.dll
scripts folder
Scripts folder:
...\Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced\scripts\
This folder should contain:
BetterChasesPlus.Enhanced.dll
BetterChasesConfig.xml
LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll
The important part is that LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll must be in the scripts folder, in the same place as BetterChasesPlus.Enhanced.dll, not in the game root.
You can get LemonUI here:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/lemonui
After installing it, check ScriptHookVDotNet.log in your game root. If the menu is failing because of LemonUI, the log will usually show an error around BetterChasesPlus.Config or LemonUI.SHVDN3.
If LemonUI is already installed and the log looks clean, then F7 might be used by another trainer or script. In that case, open BetterChasesConfig.xml and change the MenuKey to another key.
Send the log if it still does not open and I will help you narrow it down.

The original Better Chases+ mod belongs to Daimian, Eddlm, and Guadmaz. I only made the GTA V Enhanced compatibility port. Please respect the people who worked on the original mod and do not misrepresent ownership or credits.
@JoyLucien Yes, this version is only for GTA V Enhanced Story Mode.
Do not use it in GTA Online. It is also not meant for the old Legacy GTA V version.
If you use Legacy GTA V, use the original mod instead:

@azzman_01 We were not aware of the mask issue. Thank you for informing us about it. However, we will not make any changes to this mod, as it does not belong to us and we only ported it. That said, we will include this detail in our own future projects.
@jamalrodney77 This script changes the GTA V police chase system.
In vanilla GTA V, cops usually know where you are too easily. With this script, police track you more realistically. If they can see you, they keep chasing. If you break line of sight and hide, their awareness fades and they search your last known position instead of magically tracking you forever.
It also adds progressive wanted levels and arrest warrants. If you escape, police can still remember your character and vehicle description, so changing clothes, repainting your vehicle, or switching vehicles can help avoid being recognized again.
The F7 menu is where you customize the mod settings.
The download also includes a detailed README file that explains the requirements and setup steps. Please read that first before installing.
