Here is a new jet from Top Gun Maverick for GTA V. After the movie has been delayed for years, it has finally released. So here is the first Top Gun Maverick themed jet mod. This is a fictional aircraft but was designed by the actual Skunk Works design bureau.
The mod itself features all basic GTA functions like working landing gear, control surfaces, etc. It comes with a detailed cockpit as well as working cannons and missiles. The body uses a combination of normal and specular textures for a more realistic appearance.
Before you use this, make sure to use the CWeaponInfoBlob Limit Adjuster by alexguirre to prevent the game from crashing during loading.

@Skyrex6 FiveM or Singleplayer? If Singleplayer, are you on latest gameversion?
This is a beautifully designed "concept" aircraft and I like it, that's why I added it to my list of add-on aircrafts and I'm giving it a nice 4 stars but, beware.....This jet is very heavy with very short wings and a narrow fuselage and extremely difficult to maneuver in midair, specially if you're trying to land. The design of this aircraft reminds me of those paper planes I used to fly around the classroom in school.
First of all, make sure you got a really long runway before taking off because even after you take off the aircraft is so heavy that it takes a few seconds to go higher and if you're not paying attention and don't have enough space you can easily crash into those spotlights at the end of the runway or something else. Also, you have to keep this jet at a constant high speed while flying because as soon as you begin to slow down it becomes increasingly difficult to control and doing barrel rolls with this thing is a NO NO!! It will stall in midair like a metal brick. When attempting to land make sure to set the waypoint way ahead of whatever runway you're landing on because you will need ample time to visually see the runway before you land. If you set the waypoint like right at the beginning of the runway you WILL NOT be able to land this thing.
Anyways, nice jet! like it. Very challenging to fly. Great for flying high though.
Should I create a Darkstar folder in the games folder instead of the modding folder and insert all the files into the Darkstar folder? I didn't know how to install it and inserted it as the text says, but I can't spawn. Please tell me the detailed method of inserting which file and where.
@takbz Instructions are very clear but I recommend you install in your Mods folder, not as the creator said in your Game folder, although both will work. You don't create a Darkstar folder, you take the folder in the archive/download, and place it in your dlcpacks as you would every other addon. Then you add 1 line in dlclist.xml, again do it in the Mods folder. Finally don't forget to install Weapon Limits Adjuster.
