INSTALL

Run INSTALL.bat or manually copy:

v1.0 was a great start. v1.1 is what it always should have been.
FUEL DRAIN ENGINE — COMPLETELY REWRITTEN
The original drain used raw memory pointers that became unreliable after
refueling. v1.1 rebuilds the drain system from scratch using GTA V's native
vehicle APIs. The result: fuel drains correctly after every refuel, every
session, every time — no exceptions.
RANGE-BASED CONSUMPTION CONTROL
Instead of tweaking obscure drain rate numbers, you now set how far your car
should travel on a full tank — from 5 km (testing) to 650 km (nearly
unlimited). The system converts that into a precise per-frame drain rate
automatically. Change it live in the menu without restarting.
SMART LOW-FUEL ALERT SYSTEM
When your tank runs low, the entire system kicks in together:
— The fuel bar overrides your color setting and flashes RED
— A configurable alert sound plays every 4 seconds until you refuel
— The GPS automatically routes you to your nearest saved pump
No action needed from you. The mod handles it.
WINDOWS AUDIO — NO MORE BROKEN GTA SOUNDS
GTA V's frontend audio is unreliable for repeating alert sounds. v1.1 bypasses
it entirely and generates pure-tone alert sounds directly through Windows Audio,
guaranteed to be heard every single time:
• Beep — clean 880 Hz single tone
• Double — rising two-tone (880 → 1200 Hz)
• Urgent — rapid triple beep at 1400 Hz
• Custom — plays YOUR custom FuelAlert1.wav file (included, replaceable)
• None — silent
CUSTOM SOUND FILE SUPPORT
The mod ships with a custom alert sound (FuelAlert1.wav). Don't like it?
Replace it with any WAV file of your choice — same filename, same folder.
No recompile, no config edit. Just drop the file in.

Choose loudness from 1 to 10 directly in the Misc menu. Volume affects
how aggressively each tone is rendered.

Enable or disable pump map blips anytime from the Misc menu. The setting saves

sets a waypoint to the nearest saved pump. You don't have to think — just
follow the route. The waypoint stays until you've properly refueled to 30%+.

WHY v1.1 IS A LANDMARK UPDATE

v1.0 was a great start. v1.1 is what it always should have been.
FUEL DRAIN ENGINE — COMPLETELY REWRITTEN
The original drain used raw memory pointers that became unreliable after
refueling. v1.1 rebuilds the drain system from scratch using GTA V's native
vehicle APIs. The result: fuel drains correctly after every refuel, every
session, every time — no exceptions.
RANGE-BASED CONSUMPTION CONTROL
Instead of tweaking obscure drain rate numbers, you now set how far your car
should travel on a full tank — from 5 km (testing) to 650 km (nearly
unlimited). The system converts that into a precise per-frame drain rate
automatically. Change it live in the menu without restarting.
SMART LOW-FUEL ALERT SYSTEM
When your tank runs low, the entire system kicks in together:
— The fuel bar overrides your color setting and flashes RED
— A configurable alert sound plays every 4 seconds until you refuel
— The GPS automatically routes you to your nearest saved pump
No action needed from you. The mod handles it.
WINDOWS AUDIO — NO MORE BROKEN GTA SOUNDS
GTA V's frontend audio is unreliable for repeating alert sounds. v1.1 bypasses
it entirely and generates pure-tone alert sounds directly through Windows Audio,
guaranteed to be heard every single time:
• Beep — clean 880 Hz single tone
• Double — rising two-tone (880 → 1200 Hz)
• Urgent — rapid triple beep at 1400 Hz
• Custom — plays YOUR custom FuelAlert1.wav file (included, replaceable)
• None — silent
CUSTOM SOUND FILE SUPPORT
The mod ships with a custom alert sound (FuelAlert1.wav). Don't like it?
Replace it with any WAV file of your choice — same filename, same folder.
No recompile, no config edit. Just drop the file in.
ALERT VOLUME CONTROL
Choose loudness from 1 to 10 directly in the Misc menu. Volume affects
how aggressively each tone is rendered.
GAMEPAD FULLY SUPPORTED
Every part of the menu — navigation, value changes, confirm, back — works with
a controller. Open the menu with LB + RB (Xbox) / L1 + R1 (PlayStation).
D-pad navigates. A/Cross confirms. B/Circle goes back. No keyboard required.
MAP BLIPS — LIVE TOGGLE + PERSISTENT SAVE
Enable or disable pump map blips anytime from the Misc menu. The setting saves
to your config file and persists across sessions. Choose your blip color too.
AUTO GPS ON LOW FUEL
The moment your fuel drops below your warning threshold, the GPS silently
sets a waypoint to the nearest saved pump. You don't have to think — just
follow the route. The waypoint stays until you've properly refueled to 30%+.
FUEL BAR FLASHES RED — ALL COLOR MODES
Whether you've set your bar to Dynamic, Blue, Orange, or White — at low fuel
it overrides to a flashing red. You will never miss a warning.
MIGRATION TOOL INCLUDED
Coming from v1.0? Run Migrate_v1_to_v1.1.ps1 once before installing the new
ASI. It automatically finds your old config, reads every saved pump coordinate,
and writes them into the v1.1 INI format. Zero data loss, zero manual work.

Just some things if you can adjust, we can put the noze only on left back side of cars, it would be cool to choose the side, and why not even choose where we want to put this noze.

@izzy86 Adding a custom UI function to the menu... It will conflict with other mods... The font of the function options is too small; it is recommended to adjust it appropriately.
@a012345 thanks, i fixed that to global native it use, and i inject it differently. the HUD and UI are completely compatible and should not conflict with other Mods, such as Lemon UI etc.. the Font and Menu size is what i felt has good. i'll add KPI for next Update to add the option to size the text etc. in Menu. thanks again.
@izzy86 The pointer of your speedometer HUD is also not working properly. It is recommended that you check it... Screenshots cannot be uploaded on the forum, so I can't send them. That's all I've found so far.
of course I will suggest you to have more fuel types. this mean Electric and Methanol and Avgas and Jet Fuel for this mod.

@izzy86 I'm curious, where does the game get that 300 km/h speed? Could you name the mod that increases car speed? In the original game, the maximum speed is 200 km/h. And the average top speed is 160 km/h.
@izzy86 Will this mod work at 1280x1024? Everything is still scattered across the screen. The speedometer itself is compressed. The needle is offset, as is the fuel gauge.

1280x1024 nope, since its 4:3, and not 16:9/10 which is widely used for games, i need to Fix support for that ratio in next update. Meanwhile please move to only Fuel Bar Option in the Menu. thanks.
@izzy86 I can't emphasize how much i love this mod, but i still cant use my gamepad when at the station to fill up, it now works in the menu, which is a good start. A simple "d-pad right' to accept and "d-pad left" to decline will do just great, even "X" and "O" for Playstation/ "A" and "B" for xbox. Also just a reminder about the jerry can option
@izzy86 Also, i haven't been able to verify this but, LeFixSimpleFuel mod works with the ingame car dials to indicate when the fuel is low, does this mod also do that, if not, that would be another great touch
Loving the updates. Some of the vanilla auto generated pump locations seemed to be bugged though. There's a bunch just sitting in the ocean around paleto bay.

Having an issue with using addon planes with an addon sound for some reason the engines won't start. Pretty sure it's this mod causing this, almost acts like the planes are permanently out of fuel. See if you can fix it and i'll make it a 5 fr
